Yoga is an ancient system of healing and personal transformation that I recommend to everyone. Even if you are currently exercising, there are benefits above and beyond exercise that only yoga can give to you. No matter what your personal issues, adding a consistent yoga practice (3 or more times per week) will accelerate your healing and make you feel great.
The best yoga, other than the Kundalini Yoga discussed under my personal teacher at the right, in central NJ can be found at Four Winds Yoga, www.fourwindsyoga.com, in Pennington, NJ. Jill Gutowski and Michael Brantl are the co-founders, and they are fantastic teachers and wonderful people. They are always expanding, growing and offering new things. Check out their website!
I am primarily a student of Kundalini Yoga, though I have tried & enjoyed many other approaches. Kundalini seems to feel like home for me.
I began Kundalini after my husband Ken returned from a yoga teacher training with a CD of the music of Snatam Kaur. Ken saw her in concert and was deeply moved by her presence and her music. I quickly became hooked on her music as well, and realized that I needed to return to Kundalini yoga, which I had done briefly about 10 years earlier.
Currently I am studying Kundalini at the Khalsa Clinic in Yardley, PA. I highly recommend Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and his wife, Nirbe Kaur Khalsa as yoga teachers and as healers. Check out www.khalsahealing.com.
